While in pursuit of a pair of burglars who brutally attack anyone who interrupts their robberies, Corrigan pulls unconscious Stacy from their patrol car when it crashes, moments before it explodes. With the hunt on for the violent thieves, Stacy and Corrigan's ordeal brings them much closer together than ever before, something that begins to affect their working relationship, and sees Hooker injured due to their distracted states.
